Our group studies biological processes relevant to cell function using and developing diverse advanced fluorescence microscopy techniques. 
In contrast to traditional experiments where averaged information from a large number of biomolecules is obtained in an artificial context, the techniques used in our lab allow visualizing in real time the function of biomolecules in living cells, constituing a major advance in the biological sciences area.
